Terms of use
Last updated:
These terms apply when you use childrenschoreapp.com and the Children's Chore app (the “service”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Who can have an account
- Accounts are for adults (18+) who are the parent or legal guardian of the children they add.
- Children use the service only through profiles their parent creates, after the parent gives consent.
- You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity in your family account.
Using the service
- Use it for your own family. Don't misuse it, try to break it, or access other families' data.
- Only upload chore photos you have the right to share, and never photos that are inappropriate.
- Points, rewards and money values (IOUs) are records your family keeps; they have no cash value with us and we don't move real money.
Your content and data
You own what you put into Children's Chore. We use it only to run the service, as described in our privacy policy and how we protect kids' data. You can delete a child or your whole family at any time from the Family screen.
Paid features
Some features may require payment in the future. We'll always show the price clearly before you buy, and nothing you already use will be charged without your agreement.
Changes and availability
We work hard to keep the service reliable, but it's provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable. We may update these terms; if we make a material change we'll tell you by email and in the app before it takes effect.
Ending your account
You can stop using the service and delete your family at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
