A parent signs up, verifies their email and gives consent before any kid profile exists. For each kid we store a nickname, an age group and a PIN — nothing else. No ads, no trackers, no selling data. Delete everything in one tap.

What information do you collect about my kids?
Only a display name (a nickname is fine), an age group, a 4-number PIN (stored scrambled) and an avatar picture. Kids never type an email, password or anything personal. Optional chore photos are private to your family and deleted when you remove the kid or your family.
Is it COPPA compliant?
We built it around COPPA from day one. A parent creates the account, verifies their email and gives explicit consent before any child profile can exist. No third-party trackers or ads anywhere, and you can delete everything in one tap.
My kids don't have phones. Can they still use it?
Yes. Put a family tablet on the fridge in kiosk mode — kids tap their picture and type a PIN — or print a QR code for each kid to scan. You can also mark chores done for them from your phone.
What happens if we go on vacation or the kids are at their other parent's house?
Pause everyone (or one kid) with one tap. For shared custody, set a week-on/week-off calendar and chores only appear on the days a kid is with you. Streaks are never broken by a pause.
What if the internet drops while I'm saving?
Every save tells you clearly whether it worked. If it didn't, you'll see an error with a Try again button. Nothing is ever silently lost.
